The Kanabec Area Skywarn Net is activated whenever the threat of severe weather appears imminent. We act on our own, and we have been known to activate even before being advised to do so by the National Weather Service!
Activation will be announced on the KDØCI Repeater shown below. The net is accessible to the public through any radio or scanner capable of VHF frequency reception. Additionally, those on the Kanabec Area Skywarn text and/or email lists will get notification messages. If you wish to be included in text and/or email lists, please send a message to info.kanabecskywarn@gmail.com
